A five-minute drive from the resorts brings you to the family-run coffee plantation – Sandalkad Estate, that has a legacy of over 170 years , passing through seven generations.
Certified by Rain forest, UTZ and 4C, plantation walks are organized here with an experienced naturalist to experience the culture of growing coffee , pepper, cardamom, vanilla and oranges in an eco- friendly setting. Apart from this witness home grown trees (Rosewood, Silver Oak, Red cider, Jackfruit, etcetera) and different species of birds.

Roasting coffee transforms the chemical and physical properties of green coffee beans into roasted coffee products.
The roasting process is what produces the characteristic flavours of coffee by causing the green coffee beans to change in taste.

Big Cup café sources some of the best single origin coffees from family-owned plantations and experience world-class flavours and distinct notes in specific brewing methods in traditional South Indian filter, Siphon, Chemex, Pourover , AeroPress and French press.
